About the show

Micros is an animated series that follows a hilarious team of immune cells as they band together to fight off germs, repair broken body parts, and train for future battles. Of course, things don’t always go according to plan — like the time they accidentally attacked a peanut, or mistook a group of friendly cells for intruders. Packed with humor and heart, Micros brings the microscopic world to life in ways kids (and curious adults) will love.

Micros is currently in development with support from the Novo Nordisk Foundation.

Meet the crew…

TEE

Tee is the self-proclaimed leader of Team Micros, the body’s defense against hostile invaders. He takes every mission seriously and never backs down from a fight. But for all the team’s hard work, he feels very annoyed that they never seem to get the credit - not from the humans they protect, and not even from the other cells in the body! Tee dreams about showing the world what Team Micros is capable of - if only they weren’t so small that only scientists ever notice them.

BEA

Bea is a B-cell. Her mission is to wipe out invaders with unmatched intensity. She’s a loyal, fierce and determined fighter, always ready to fight enemies with antibodies. Sometimes, she gets too aggressive and attacks when there’s no need for it. Though her responses can be a bit much at times, Bea’s confidence and relentless drive make her an unstoppable force, always eager to prove she’s ready for the next battle.

MACRO

Macro is a macrophage, a kind-hearted giant of the immune system, always eager to help… particularly if helping involves eating. Constantly hungry, he tries to gobble up just about everything. Bacteria? Yum. Dead cells? Don’t mind if he does. Macro munches his way through the mess, keeping the body clean and safe. He means well, but sometimes he gets a little carried away - like the time he accidentally ate Tee’s new clipboard. (Tee’s still looking for that thing.) Despite the occasional mix-up, Macro’s warmth and loyalty make him a lovable protector. He’s the first to show up and the last to leave, never hesitating to dive into action - especially if action comes with a snack.

DENDY

Dendy is a dendritic cell. He is the body’s sweet and clumsy watchman, always patrolling with his camera, snapping pictures of anything unusual. His main job is to capture and report signs of invaders, like bacteria or viruses, back to Tee. While he may trip over his own feet or get his camera strap tangled, he’s a vital part of the team. Always on the lookout and rushing to alert Tee, so he and the others can swoop in and handle the situation.

MEMI

Memi is a memory cell who never forgets a virus she’s helped defeat. With razor-sharp recall, she’s the immune system’s living library - always ready to remind the team of past battles. She can spot familiar invaders before they even have a chance to cause trouble. Her experience makes her an essential part of the team, helping everyone react faster and smarter to known threats. Memi takes great pride in her role and loves sharing war stories about the viruses she’s seen come and go - though she often keeps talking long after anyone’s still listening. But that doesn’t stop her. To Memi, every memory matters.
